Declaring our Inalienable Right to one undivided Native America
Turtle Island (North and South America) is one continent, one land. We reject the divisions of Turtle Island into the subcategories of North, Central and South America. Native Americans on Turtle Island are, “One People One Land”. We also reject the occupier’s borders defining the colonizing regimes of Canada, United States, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Belize, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela. These artificial borders divide Turtle Island and our indigenous territories and indigenous people. Each of the regions seeks to impose false identities on our people such as Canadian, Mexican, Nicaraguan, Costa Rican, Colombian, etc. We reject the occupiers borders imposed on Turtle Island and we reject the divisions of Turtle Island and we reject the false identities and labels. Border policies and false labels inhibit the free flow of indigenous people of Turtle Island and break the cultural continuity and integrity of our people and prevent the cultural healing and regeneration of our indigenous cultures from the holocaust of the past 500 years. We also reject the territories of Antigua, Bermuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Greenland, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Kitts, Nevis, Saint Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Vincent, Dominica, the Virgin islands and the Grenadines as colonizing territories for the same reasons as stated above.
Policies, laws, actions and the economic systems of the colonizing regimes all work as a system to destabilize our indigenous social systems, maintain instability in our social systems and people, and keep our people in a state of flux so that they can be used when and as desired by the colonizers and disposed of when and as desired by the colonizers. For example, illicit support of terrorist wars, such as the illegally U.S. funded wars of the 1980’s in El Salvador and Nicaragua, trade agreements such as NAFTA and CAFTA and other policies force our people from their land, to the colonizers cities, and then force them northward to seek survival working as cheap labor in the colonizers economic systems. In times of slow economic growth in the north, immigration laws are passed and enforced, such as 287g in Prince William County Virginia, to cruelly force our people back southward across borders. We reject the social manipulation of Indigenous Native American people and the borders which play a critical role in this manipulation and control.
For 500 years, illegal laws, borders, brainwashing and false labels have been used as a system to disempower Native Americans on our homeland continent of Turtle Island. For example due to the colonizers borders, brainwashing and false labels of Hispanic, Mestizo, Chicano and Latino, the commonly held perception by the vast majority of people is that Native Americans make up less than 1% of the population of America. The fact is over 60% of the population of the single continent of America or Turtle Island (without borders) is Native American. We reject the borders of the colonizing regimes and false labels of Hispanic, Mestizo and Latino because they keep the vast majority of us impoverished, powerless, ignorant, illegal and refugees on our own homeland of Turtle Island. On parts of Turtle Island, such as the eastern part of what is called the United States, Indigenous Native Americans are mislabeled by the colonizing regimes with identities such as Negro, mulatto, black, colored, and even white, so that our land was and is free for the taking. For example in Virginia, it was the law and still is the norm for natives with one drop of black blood or ancestry to be classified as black, colored or Negro. After the Indian Removal act of 1830, when the common practice was to kill remaining natives east of the Mississippi, hundreds of thousands of Natives were forced to accept racial identities other than native. For example in states such as Georgia it was illegal to be Native and live in that state, thus many natives were forced to take on false identities and to mix with other races for survival. We were illegal aliens in our own home lands. Many of these laws were still on the books up until the 1980s. We reject the false labels and identity genocide forced on our people and we condemn the state and federal recognition systems of the colonizing regimes that today still systemically deny recognition of hundreds of thousands of native people because of these false labels.
The European occupier’s borders also create an apartheid system on our land. Just as in apartheid South Africa a section of stolen Native land has artificial borders imposed on it and laws passed by the occupiers designating part of the stolen area as the majority white area. Just as in apartheid South Africa most of the Natives, of color, are barred from the white majority section—the United States and Canada. Just as in apartheid South Africa Natives of color are given temporary work passes to come into the white majority area to perform menial work and then must return to their defined area by a defined time. Just as in the segregated Southern United States, where colonizers installed a system of segregation between whites and people of color, we today have a system of segregation on Turtle Island. In fact South Africa modeled their system of apartheid after the United States system of slavery and segregation, after studying this system. We reject the borders of the colonizers because they create a segregated and apartheid Turtle Island.
The colonizer regimes currently occupying Turtle Island are obligated by eternal natural law of morality and the Original Instructions to allow for the natural rights of Indigenous people to be on any part of our own homeland. In addition, the colonizer regimes are even obligated by several aspects of current international law, even though most international law was created by colonizers of other indigenous people. Also the colonizer regimes are obligated by the United Nations’ Declaration of the Rights of the Indigenous Peoples Resolution of 2008.
We reject the colonizers regimes' positions that some Indigenous Native Americans are "illegal" on parts of Turtle Island or on her surrounding Islands. We reject the unlawful colonizing European borders on our continent and colonizers regimes' definitions of our people and the colonizers regimes' denial of our rights to reside anywhere on our homeland, and colonizers regimes' actions which continue the genocidal process of the past 500 years. We declare that any acts of arrest, detainment, or forced relocation of any Indigenous Native American, from any location on Turtle Island, by any of the colonizing regimes to be acts of terrorism and acts of the continued 500 year old genocide of indigenous people native to Turtle Island.
We request that the colonizers regimes currently, temporarily and illegally in command and control of Turtle Island, by force, make changes in their laws as follows to:
Acknowledge the existence of Native Americans as the majority of people currently residing on Turtle Island (America);
Acknowledge our natural rights to travel across the length and breadth of our homeland continent of Turtle Island (America);
Acknowledge our full and complete original collective ownership of the whole continent of Turtle Island (America).
Declaring our Inalienable Right to Return to the Indigenous Way
In 1492 when our lands were invaded by Europe our people lived within a peaceful, tribal, communal social system that we refer to as the Indigenous Way. The Indigenous Way is a communal way of living in peace, spirituality, love, liberty and abundance on Mother Earth in harmony with all of her inhabitants. The Indigenous Way is the social system that humans have lived in for the vast majority of human history. In 1492 Europe had been off of the Indigenous Way path for thousands of years and had adopted the way of authority, control and fragmentation. The result was that European civilization was on its death bed after having devolved into a 1,000 year Dark Age of murder, theft, death, war, conquering, disease, rape, barbarianism—the natural conclusion of fear, control and authoritarian rule. The theft of 25% of Mother Earth’s virgin wealth, from Turtle Island, bought another 500 years of growth to the European Way. The price, however, is that today the entire world, now infected with the European thinking, of authority, fear and control, faces the same fate of death and destruction as 500 years ago, from the likes of peak oil, climate change, nuclear terrorism, environmental destruction, species extinction and far more. The authoritarian worldview will always bring humanity to the same conclusion—death and destruction!! We declare the authoritarian disease brought to the rest of the world to be a mental illness of fear. Fear is the opposite of the Original Instruction given to all humans. Now we are all infected with the mental illness of fear, authority and control and this is the source of all of the world’s current social problems from environmental destruction to war to terrorism to corruption to poverty and all of our other problems.
No matter what we do within the current civilization and fear paradigm we pollute, rape and desecrate Mother Earth. This alone tells us that there are no answers within the authoritarian paradigm. We must look outside of the current dominant paradigm and worldview for the answers. The historical evidence from the transition from the European Agricultural Age to the Industrial Age and the replacement of the entire European Agricultural Age civilization, shows that today as we transition from the Industrial Age into the Information Age, we must literally create a new civilization with very different social institutions. There are many indigenous prophecies that point to the times we live in and tell us that we must heal and return to the path of the Indigenous Way. These prophecies say that we must return to the Indigenous Way or there will be a purification in the coming years that will return us to the Indigenous Way.
The failing health of Mother Earth, the historical precedence and the prophecies all show the same thing—we must today create a new civilization that works on completely different social institutions than what we have today. We must all heal from the mental illness of fear and let go of the American Dream as the righteous path for humanity. It is not possible for six to nine billion people to live on the Mother Earth in the “American Way”. We will devour Mother Earth’s organs (natural resources) and poison the water and air beyond the point where it will support life. We must be humble and understand that America is not #1; Mother Earth is #1.
We the indigenous people of Turtle Island declare that not only is it our sovereign right, but our duty as the keepers of Turtle Island, to re-birth, re-generate, re-build, re-create and re-grow the Indigenous Way, so that it reclaims its place as the natural and sacred way that humans live on Mother Earth in harmony with her and not in dominion over her. It is our duty as Native Americans, Indigenous to Turtle Island, to help lead in humanity’s return to living the Indigenous Way by the Original Instructions.
We assert that we will be building hundreds and thousands and tens of thousands intentional sustainable tribal communities all over Turtle Island, on our land, all interconnected together, that operate in the peaceful traditions of our ancestors, which moves humanity to living in harmony with Mother Earth and all of her inhabitants. These communities do not pollute Mother Earth. They are places where our children learn in natural ways, where we grow and we eat natural foods, where we build our own dwellings from natural products taken from Mother Earth in balanced ways, where we produce our own energy with zero pollution, where we help Mother Earth and ourselves to heal, where we re-learn our songs, dances, languages and ceremonies; where we live in peace and abundance, where each person is free to pursue his or her unique genius and his or her soul’s hidden agenda, where each person is the first and last of his or her own nation. We assert that we will be connecting these communities with the thousands of intentional communities already being created to help create a true global free market based economy and social system with no controls, where individual liberty, is the heart of the social system as it was with our ancestors. We assert the sovereignty of indigenous Native Americans to create and build these communities on Turtle Island, on our land, free from control, interference or manipulation from the colonizer’s governments and agencies at the local, state and federal levels. We assert the right to create these communities based upon the tribal economic systems of our ancestors, the spiritual systems of our ancestors, the traditions of our ancestors, the social, family, ceremonial, healing and other systems of our ancestors.
In rejecting the colonizing borders, our network of thousands of interdependent tribal communities throughout Turtle Island will be made of indigenous people from through out Turtle Island, regardless of colonizing borders or colonizing labels and colonizing citizenships, as well as diverse people as decided by each community. We declare the inalienable right to determine our own citizenship free from dictates from the colonizers governments and agencies.
Our goal in creating these communities is to help provide models for humans to live in sustainable ways on Mother Earth and in respect of Mother Earth as our mother, as our ancestors did for most of human history and to help put humanity back on the path of the Original Instructions given to all humans.
Final Warning to End the Desecration of Mother Earth
We some of the keepers of Mother Earth have a duty and obligation to fellow humans, Mother Earth, and all of our relations to sound a warning regarding what we are doing to Mother Earth and the danger ahead. What humans have been doing for 6,000 years, since the first people strayed from the Indigenous Way path, is a brutal, unrelenting, unmerciful, war, genocide and holocaust against the Indigenous World—its peoples, plants, animals, social systems and Mother Earth’s air, water, organs and body.
For the 6,000 years that Europe has been off of the Indigenous Way path and on the path of authority, ego, fear and control, Mother Earth, the Creator and the Ancestors have provided countless warnings of the folly of this path. Europe after 1,000 years of dark ages did not heed the message and learn the lesson. Now 500 years later the entire world has been infected and forced away from the Indigenous Way path. From the Authoritarian worldview and system there are no answers to our problems of global warming, peak oil, mass species extinction, climate change, nuclear and biological terrorism, wars, gangs, poverty and starvation, ethic cleansing, genocides, 30,000 children dying from starvation each day?, sickness, drugs, violence, over population, mass corruption, potential global pandemics, environmental destruction, school shootings, defective government, organized crime, serial killing, failing schools, broken families, potential nuclear destruction and more. These problems are all byproducts the Authoritarian System and thus cannot be solved by this system.
The many Native American prophecies are very clear regarding what will happen if we do not return to the Indigenous Way and live by the Original Instruction. They all point to a purification that will cleanse Mother Earth of the people who refuse to live by the Original Instructions. In addition, many of our people have seen the coming purification. If you don’t believe in prophecies or visions, the hard cold facts are that Mother Earth simply cannot support six or nine or twelve billion people living the American Way. If we cannot surrender, repent, be silent, listen and re-learn how to live in harmony with Mother Earth, we are bringing the purification upon ourselves.
Within five years humanity must:
1. End the war against the indigenous world and help the indigenous world heal, be re-born and grow.
2. End all mining of Mother Earth’s organs (uranium, oil, coal, oil shale, gold, silver, iron, aluminum, diamonds, etc,).
3. End all wars, violence and terrorism and heal ourselves from the trauma of the holocausts of the past 6,000 years.
4. End the use of all fossil fuels and get our energy usage in balance, where either there is no byproducts from our energy consumption, or the outputs from our energy consumption is equal to the input of the next system.
5. End all mass production growth and development.
6. End heavy scaring of Mother Earth with the likes of Mountain Top Removal, real estate development, landfills, mining and drilling.
7. End the poisoning of Mother Earth with the dumping of solid, liquid and gaseous pollutants in her air, water and land.
8. End the mass production clear cutting of indigenous forests, old growth forests and help re-grow and heal the indigenous forests.
9. Dismantle all mass destruction weapons and armies.
10. Dismantle all social systems of authority, control, fear and ego based upon win/lose competition and adversarialism. This includes socialism, communism, Marxism, capitalism, democracy, dictatorships, monarchy, aristocracies, companies, bureaucracies, governments.
11. Dismantle all social systems, such as cities, where the output of the systems overloads the input of the next systems and results in excess or pollution.
12. End all starvation and poverty.
13. Heal all of humanity of the disease of fear that infects us all.
14. Reintegrate life – family, wealth creation, spirituality, and recreation – into one undivided whole.
15. Develop energy sources where the output is not larger than can be accepted as input for the next system, with zero excess or pollution.
16. Reinstate and redevelop social systems base up individual liberty, peace, egalitarianism, abundance, community, family, spirituality, ceremony, infinite wealth and love.
The above list of items likely seems impossible and completely insane. Yes, within the Authoritarian System and worldview it is impossible. Coming from ego and fear it is impossible. However, from the indigenous, tribal, communal perspective it is very possible especially with the power of information technology today. Humans lived for the vast majority of human history in the tribal, indigenous way based on small community, family, egalitarianism, peace, love and abundance. It is important for Indigenous Native Americans to reclaim our rightful place on Turtle Island because this is the only way that we can help lead humanity back to the path of the Original Instructions.
This may be a final warning to humanity. Mother Earth will no more allow us to kill her, ourselves and her other inhabitants, than we would allow a mentally ill child of ours to kill his mother, father, sisters, and brothers. At some point the necessary action must be taken to prevent the child from killing the entire family. With the likes of peak oil, global warming and more we are near the point of no return. Either we take the actions above or we will reap what we have sown for 6,000 years.
