"A new civilization is emerging in our lives, and blind men everywhere are trying to suppress it." -Alvin Toffler

The Indigenous Way -> Yesah Nation -> Yesah Nation

Yesah Nation

WEBSITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION
PLEASE EXCUSE THE TEMPORARY MESS AND TYPOS

Yesah Nation is the nation of Siouan people from East of the Mississippi. We are the same people as the Lakota and Dakota people from out west. Our oral history says we were once one people but our distant cousins moved west as visions of a light skin race and the destruction they world bring appeared.

Yesah Nation seeks to form collaborative and interdependent relationships with other sovereign Indigenous Nations on Turtle Island. Though there are tens of thousands or indigenous Siouan people in North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, Ohio and several tribes in the area most are not seeking sovereignty at this time. Most tribes are busy trying to get the recognition of the white system that murdered, raped and created a genocide and holocaust against our people. Most have lost hope in the Indigenous Way seeing the white way as the only game in town and working diligently and learning the white way, being accepted in the white system and becoming whiter than the white people.

At some point some of them will begin to wake up and realize the power information technology has delivered to us today to create a world that works on our strengths. We will always loose as long as we try and play the white man's game of analysis.

Analysis, the primary thinking brought here from Europe, is now primary thinking of the world. Analysis is merely the process of taking things apart and seeing thing as separate from one another. It has been the primary thinking of Europe for thousands of years. People in Europe who were not as good with analysis died long ago. So in Europe we see over many generations a natural or artificial selection process for people with an analysis bias. With the analysis paradigm I have my perspective and you have yours. Each of us is to out debate, out compete, out talk, out shout, trick the other to get our perspective seen. I win you lose. Analysis is the exact opposite of Mitaku Oysin.

Indigenous civilizations' primary thinking is synthesis, which is the opposite of analysis. Synthesis is the bringing together of wholes into larger more coherent wholes. What does this mean. You and I see things different because we come from a different perspective. By listening intently and seeking to truly understand one another, when we are successful, we have a larger more coherent whole understanding than either of us had alone. Synthesis is 100% about Mitaku Oysin.

Many of our people have confused modern and progress with the European authoritarian ways and analysis. Many of our people are lost. However, time is on our side and there is only one way to go since continuing on the authoritarian path is the same as walking off a cliff.

Today Yesah Nation is comprised only of one community--Occoneechee Village. We have a second community planned in Brunswick County, SaponiTown. Saponitown will be built in the Greentown community on the old Saponi Indian reservation established in 1714, where many of our people still live. Our vision of Yesah Nation is one of 1,000 communities in five years with 50,000 citizens and 200,000 acres of land with a GNP (gross national product) of five billion dollars.
