At the heart of the new emerging civilization lies real tribal communities, where people live, work, teach their children, grow spiritually on a single tract of land 20 to 500 acres, living in ways that are more natural and in harmony with Mother Earth. Small communities are where humanity has lived, loved, raised children and socialized for nearly all of human history. Today the intentional community is the fastest growing social phenomena in the world. We believe the intentional community movement is part of a return to the Indigenous Way.

In March 2008, the Intentional Community website documents 1402 intentional communities worldwide. By August they listed over 1500. They are growing at the rate of 5 to 10 new intentional communities being created each week. This number will accelerate dramatically in the coming years.

Eventually these communities will begin connecting to one another via information technology will begin becoming interdependent upon one another in meeting their human living needs. We do not have to resist or fight with the Authoritarian System and the Industrial Age. It is failing of its own weight. AT the same time more and more people reawaken and return to the Indigenous Way each day.

The intentional community movement is missing a critical element--indigenous people. The things being attempted, discovered and created and searched for in intentional communities today are exactly what the Europeans destroyed when they came to our land. Now they are waking up to the folly of the European way. However, the vast majority of Indigenous people, have been beaten, tortured and brainwashed away from the Indigenous Way. Our people are confused with most following the European path of fear, selfishness and greed.

Today we must return to the natural way. The white people creating communities must let go of the ego and arrogance, that comes from the way of the mind, that led to the near destruction of the Indigenous World. Having been in white communities we see the same arrogance of ego, in our progressive allies, that we see in the right wing conservatives that have sort to exterminate us for 500 years. They must seek help from the Indigenous people, from their tribal ancestors, and stop coming from the head and fear. Our help is needed because it has been at least 6,000 years since Europeans were in uninfected tribes and 6,000 years that they have been brainwashed/socialized or perhaps even natural or artificially selected for the traits of the Authoritarian System.

Indigenous people, must be willing to help the white people in their effort to return to the Indigenous Way. Indigenous people must come home and take the lead in the re-creation of the Indigenous Way. Without us the white people will not be able to do it alone. They have been away from the Indigenous Way for too long and many aspects of the Authoritarian System has been deeply ingrained in their ways. Some people say its in their DNA after thousands of years of artificial and natural selection for authoritarian traits white in Europe. Others say it is merely deeply socialized in them. Either way they need our help.
